Kenyans have been urged to remain at home in a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health lauded health care workers for their dedication since the first case was recorded, saying the country had made significant strides.
However, the public was warned against a casual approach as the gains can be easily eroded if people go back to their old behaviours.
Health CAS Dr Rashid Aman also praised Kenyans who have come forth to be tested, noting that testing is the only way the true picture of the disease will be known,
"We are glad that majority of Kenyans have responded to our call to come forward for testing. This is commendable & we continue to appeal to all Kenyans to come out and get tested.
"We're appealing to Kenyans in high-risk areas to come forward & be tested. The cost of testing, quarantine, isolation & treatment in a Government facility will be met by the Government. Any information to the contrary is false & is aimed at misleading Kenyans," said Aman.
